![]() ![]() The infinite lava was a little more cheeky, and an interesting way to end a run. I wasn't sure if I had encountered a bug of some sort when they just kept coming. One funny detail: with all upgrades I started digging with my revolver instead, its AoE and damage makes it far better than the drill even at max upgrades =)Ī nice little demo. After seeing the video by SplatterCatGaming over on Youtube I decided to try out the demo and felt like some feedback was earned.įirstly, the infinite bug spawn trap was cheeky. I have a beefy PC (i9 9900, gtx2080ti, 32gb RAM) and when waves spawn the FPS goes downhill fast, even when not looking at the action at all you cant move anymore because the lags affect your movement as well. ![]() ![]() I already read that there will be ways to deal with lava later on, but right now its way too easy to simply dig into lava without noticing. While moving and digging the lava is indistinguishable from normal ore. I only have two complaints about this game: Placing a new wall because some tiny bug you didnt see gnawed their way through a wall is a bit annoying. But I havent found a way to repair stuff. The upgrades and buildings are a nice touch ontop of the gather and cavern/dungeon crawling. Making them unlimited is a good thing, balance the uptime of light and cooldown of flares to make it feel dark enough. Nothing is more annoying than keeping track of something so basic and remembering to craft them again. Unlimited but cooldown based flares are the right choice. There are of course a lot of things to polish and expand, but it looks promising as a demo. Played the demo, here is a bit of feedbackI had my fun with the demo. ![]()
